Happy Birthday Jasmund! :D
Hello dearest section mates,
especially to the graduated batch.
Vincent, Chelsea, Wei li, Bernice
It has been a fun and enriching experience playing in the same band, in the same section.
I truly think that band would not be as fun without you people.
Although conflicts are still present,
but we still managed to solve them in the end.
No doubt, all this obstacles had made us even more bonded.
So, i would like to tell the fellow juniors that it is important to work together.
If there are any minor arguments, sit down and settle it peacefully.
We must maintain unity to make sure we can work and play together.
Hence, the popular saying goes, "there is no I in teamwork".
To my fellow batchmates,
let's work hard towards our prelims and the 'O' levels.
let's just forget about the band and concentrate on our studies.
No doubt, the scars on thumb would disappear,
but our memories will always remain.
To the juniors,
continue to work hard.
make your seniors proud.
have no regrets when you step down from band,
because you know that you did your best.
Finally, may the clarinet spirit live on! :)
love the clarinet, love the band. :)

Hi people..
Recalling the experiences we had since sec 1 (current sec 4s).. all of them were memorable..
I rmb the time when we squeeze into a single swing..
The time Bernice rejected Bass clarinet and I got in..
The time when Adam pumped us for some reason related to Digital Prism..
We were under Sondi for drills.. and Aqil vomited "blood"..
Under Nigel's rule..
We ran 15 rounds around parade sq and follow by 100 pumpings..
Vertical heights 8 times.. Aqil the gay again vomited..
The talks Nigel and Kenny gave us.. the feelings we felt..
The competitions and concerts we had been through..
Our ensemble piece nearly screwed thanks to me..
And Im like a burden at tht point in time..
Many more.. and many other small events..
All these builds up our friendship.. to our bond now.. Though there was conflicts.. but they were not much of a problem.. This friendship of ours.. should nvr end.. no matter wad the future holds for us.. The unity we have.. shld nvr be destroyed.. I really hope all of us will be able to perform together on the same stage again.. Now.. its the time for our academic.. O levels.. Full force attack.. Though Im saying this now.. Im sure Im the one who will not study hard..
For the juniors..
We.. the sec 4s.. have officially stepped down.. Now u guys are on ur own.. Practise hard and do not disappoint or disgrace ur seniors.. =) .. Work hard.. aim high.. Continue improving ur techniques.. and try to pick up some leadership skills.. soon.. SYF will be coming.. and the sec 2s will be taking over as the leading batch.. Assist one another if help is needed.. Do not be satisfied with urself only.. Think as a section.. Work as a section.. As such.. the section can improve.. Without the sec 4s to joke around during sectionals.. I tink it will be much more boring for u guys (No offence to Jasmund).. Nobody to "protect" the sec 2s from the scoldings from Jasmund.. Try to cooperate with him.. He also has a hard time.. Understanding is important.. Maintain the harmony.. Stay united.. Thts all I got to say..
Regards..
Vincent
